Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
Compensation: CAD $54,000 annually

A growing European grocery chain offering affordable, high-quality food, is looking for an experienced Store Director/Manager to lead our Belleville team. Relocation assistance may be provided for the right candidate ready to grow with us.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead all operations of the grocery department, including hiring, training, scheduling, and managing team performance.

- Oversee day-to-day tasks such as ordering, receiving, stocking, merchandising, pricing, rotation, and inventory control.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready store environment.

- Design and implement effective seasonal and promotional product displays.

- Enforce adherence to company standards, health and safety policies, and sanitation procedures.

- Monitor department financials, minimize shrink, and improve inventory accuracy.

- Work closely with the Store Director on strategic planning and budgeting.

- Supervise a team including supervisors, merchandisers, and stockers.

Qualifications:

- Relevant diploma and equivalent relevant experience.

- Minimum 3 years of grocery or retail management experience.

- Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on approach.

- Customer-focused, organized, and detail-oriented.

- Solid knowledge of retail operations, budgeting, and inventory systems.

- Physically able to lift up to 55 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

- Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday.
